Computer Science - KS4
Studying GCSE Computer Science develops our students ability to think logically, design algorithms and understand the principles of programming and data. It provides an excellent foundation for A-Level study, a good foundation for technology related careers as well as offering skills that can be applied in fields such as engineering, science and business.

Paper 1: Computational thinking and Programming Skills

- 90 Marks
- 50% of the GCSE Marks
Questions will be a mix of multiple-choice, short and long answer questions assessing programming, problem solving and computational thinking skills
Paper 2: Computing Concepts
- Written Paper
- 1 hr 45 mins
- 90 Marks
- 50% of the GCSE Marks
Questions will be a mix of multiple-choice, short and long answer questions, extended response questions assessing theoretical knowledge and SQL programming skills
