Safeguarding and Wellbeing
SJB is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of young people.
The safety and wellbeing of our young people is our top priority. We are committed to creating a nurturing environment where every student feels safe, supported, and valued. Strong relationships are at the heart of our approach—students know they can turn to their Form Tutor, Head of Year, or any member of our caring staff team whenever they need support.
We have clear and robust procedures in place for identifying and responding to any concerns, ensuring that issues are dealt with swiftly and sensitively. Through our PSHE programme and daily Form Time, we also equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to look after their own health and wellbeing, both now and in the future.
This section of our website provides information for parents, carers who are concerned about their child or young persons wellbeing, including links to resources that they can use to help support them. There are also links to useful resources for young people who are struggling with their own mental health and wellbeing.
If you are concerned about a young persons wellbeing please get in contact with our Designated Safeguarding Lead. Full details can be found on the page linked below.
