At SJB, we value sports and celebrate our students’ achievements in a vast range of sporting disciplines. As well as our regularly, weekly clubs, many of our teams achieve success at local and district level.

Netball
Year 8 – Woking league winners
Year 9 – Woking league winners
Both progressed to the Surrey finals. Year 9 came 4th in Surrey!
Woking District Tournament
Year 7 – 5th out of 9 schools
Year 10 – 5th out of 9 schools

Panathlon
First time SJB competed in the Panathlon, placed 5th out of 10 schools!
Panathlon is a sports program and national charity that provides competitive sports opportunities for young people with disabilities and special educational needs. It offers a range of sports activities and events, including multisports, swimming, football, ten-pin bowling, boccia, and cricket. Panathlon aims to develop skills, confidence, and self-esteem in participants.
Year 7 Sports Hall Athletics
Both boys and girls teams made it through to the County Finals.
District Cross Country Championships
Year 7 Girls 2nd, Year 8 boys 3rd, Year 10/11 boys 2nd

Girls Woking District Tournament
Year 8 – 2nd

Year 7- A team 1st, B team 5th

Rugby
Chobham Woking District Tournament, Year 7 came 1st!
North West Surrey Swimming Gala
Year 7 2nd,
Year 8 1st, Year 9 3rd
Overall – 2nd
Badminton
Woking District tournament – Year 10&11 girls and boys came 3rd.
Indoor Cricket

U15 – won district tournament
Girls
U13 competed in the Lady Tavener competition. They came 2nd, which took them through to the plate final.
